FX Options Senior Developer

Global bank seeks a motivated Senior Developer with proven experience in C++ for their Front Office development team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mandatory and strategic project delivery for Bank’s FX Options offering, performing requirements gathering, design, development, testing, project management and governance.

Principal Accountabilities:
This role requires the individual to :

• Devlop off the global code base in a co-ordinated and controlled way ensuring sufficient communication of all changes.
• Work in a high pressured environment across geographical boundaries and multiple teams and deliver to agreed deadlines.
• Build strong relationships with the business and gain a good understanding of their processes.
• Build strong relationships with key Technology teams whom we are dependant on.

Skills & Experience Required:
Essential:

• Candidate should have worked in a front office banking environment
• Candidate should have good understanding of Pricing, Risk, Options Greeks and PnL calculations
• At least 5 year of solid hands on experience in developing server side C++ components both in Unix and Windows environment.
• Experience in using XML, STL, multithreading, boost.
• FX Options product knowledge or similar skills from another derivative business space
• SQL
• TIBCO Middleware
• Linux skills
• Scripting skills

Desirable:

• Project management skills
• Java
