IT Helpdesk Support Specialist

Ross is currently seeking for a highly skilled IT Helpdesk Specialist to join a large US-based information service provider.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for handling inquiries via email or phone from financial analysts and data managers that are experiencing data discrepancies.
  • Work with the content team, developers, product managers, test engineers and the broker’s data managers to resolve all data/technical issues.
  • Use advance understanding of SQL and Excel to address issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree holder from a reputable university
  • Prior Help Desk or Technical Support experience in a financial services environment
  • Proficient in SQL and Excel is a must. Knowledge in VBA & PHP an advantage
  • Excellent problem solving and email/phone support skills to deliver accurate and prompt technical support
  • Excellent customer service attitude
  • Ability to form effective interpersonal relationships with others at various levels of expertise
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and comprehend ever-changing technology
  • Ability to follow through on open issues and successfully close them
  • Good command of both written and spoken English. Mandarin is an advantage.
