IT Specialist

Job Description:

You will be responsible in providing desktop support, maintaining Windows servers, network infrastructure and PABX/VoIP phones. Besides working with vendors on hardware/software acquisition and maintaining IT inventory, you are also required to coordinate the setting up and maintenance of training rooms and video/audio conferencing equipment.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in Computer studies
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with supporting Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7, Office 007, VMware, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange Server 2007, Symantec products (Backupexec, Symantec Endpoint Protection, Ghost)
  • Experience with maintaining Dell Windows servers/laptops/PCs
  • Experience with maintaining CISCO switches and routers
  • Experience with supporting Blackberry and Windows Mobile devices
  • Knowledge of PABX, VoIP phone, Lifesize/Polycom video/audio conferencing equipment, wireless microphones and sound systems will be an advantage
  • Possess good IT troubleshooting skills
  • Able to prioritize work, multitask and work independently
  • Proactive and confident
  • Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills
