We are now looking for high-caliber persons to fill up the position of Application Developer position based in Singapore.

Application Developer

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have excellent logic and problem solving skills and a drive to make a difference; must be creative, resourceful and innovative at tackling complex challenges in a timely matter.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Application Developer will be working closely with a tight development team to create high-performance enterprise server applications. Responsibilities include designing, development, testing and support of n-tier Java applications.

The role requires effective interaction as a team player on large, cross-team initiatives.

Job Specifications:

Education & Professional Qualifications:

• Minimum BS Degree in Computer Science or other related field.

Prior Experience:

• At least 3 years experience in Java or J2EE environments
• Knowledge in Servlets, Struts Framework, EJB, Java Script, AJAX, Web Service, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML and XML
• .NET, and/or MQ-Series is a plus

Skills & Qualities:

• Proficiency in the Design Cycle, particularly software/database design
• Overall understanding of Development Models and Architecture
• Experience developing framework/reusable components using J2EE and related technologies
• Expert level knowledge and hands-on experience in Java, JSP, Apache, Eclipse, Unit Testing and Oracle.
• Good Knowledge in UNIX (AIX), database technologies and interfaces
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and demonstrate problem solving skills as well as resourcefulness in obtaining information
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Ability to work as a team member with limited supervision
• Must be flexible with the working hours due to the time difference between Singapore and US office.
• 5-days work-week.
