System Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Define system objectives and prepare system design specifications to meet user requirements and satisfy interface specifications
• Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
• Analyze and evaluates user requirements by coordinating with the user to define the problem, data availability, report requirement and system design problem
• Responsible to carry out the on-going support duty on system platforms, perform system change and re-configuration on support system software
• Monitor the system healthiness and carry out performance tuning, study the request from application team and setup corresponding environments such as SIT, UAT and production
• Provide technical, consultative advices and training to users
• Coordinate with vendors and maintain systems upon implementation

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline
• Over 5-year experience in system support or application development, of which at least 3-year experience in the capacity of System Analyst
• Experience in application development using ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, JavaScript and Oracle PL*SQL is a must
• At least one year working experience in Oracle Inventory and Order Management System v11i
• At least one year solid working experience in Oracle RDBMS 10g
• Some knowledge in MS SQL Server and MS-Access;
• Knowledge and experience in the Inventory is a definite advantage
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Good interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills in both English and Chinese
