SpeedCast is seeking dynamic professionals to join our Network Operations Team at our world-class Tai Po Teleport. Successful candidate will be offered the position of Product Engineer with attractive salary, generous fringe benefits and excellent career prospects.


Job Duties:

• Provide support service on networking equipments such as switch, router, firewall and VoIP system
• Implement multi-vendor environments as a total solution for customer
• Support In-house product testing and development
• Setup and verify new products in test laboratory
• Documentation, housekeeping, and data center preparation
• Perform daily system monitoring, helpdesk support and trouble shooting on networking equipments
• 24 x 7 standby support

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent;
• Minimum 3 year experience in IT/ Network operation and support experiences
• Good knowledge in LAN/WAN, TCP/IP and Firewall
• Product knowledge in Cisco, Check Point or Juniper
• Certifications on CCNA or other professional certification is preferred
• Good knowledge in Linux platform, Tomcat, Apache HTTP, MySQL is highly preferred
• Good knowledge in VoIP: H323, SIP, Asterisk
• Knowledge in satellite DVB broadcasting, various multimedia technologies, RF and digital communication
• Knowledge and experience in Data Center environment
• Proactive and initiative, able to complete job assignment independently with min supervision and meet tight deadline
• Analytical and good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work with all parts of the company and external partners to deliver a solution to clients
• Multitasking and able to work under pressure
• Fluent written and spoken English
