Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) is one of the leading air cargo terminals operators in the world. Our mission is to enhance Hong Kong’s position as the premier air cargo hub in the region through unparalleled cargo handling and logistics services provided at our SuperTerminal 1 – the worlds’ largest and busiest air cargo terminal.

In order to continue to serve the industry better and cater to their future requirements, Hactl has appointed HACTL Solutions Limited to replace the existing air cargo management system, COSAC. HACTL Solutions Limited is now looking for experienced and committed professionals to join the team in developing this next generation air cargo management system.

Contract Systems Analyst (2-year contract)

Requirements

• University degree in IT, or equivalent
• At least 8 years post-qualification IT experience, preferably in transportation and logistic industry
• At least 6 years experience in J2EE, in which at least 4 years enterprise architecture/system design and team leader role
• Demonstrate experience in multi-vendor mission critical system & multi-tier system integration
• Strong knowledge on latest J2EE Technology & design pattern, Service Oriented Architecture, enterprise/application architectural design, Spring Framework, Hibernate, JPA, J2EE App Server, Oracle WebLogic Suite, Web Services and Oracle RDBMS
• Experience in large scale project development is definitely an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Putonghua is definitely an advantage

Responsibility

The consultant is responsible to:

• Work with technical architecture team to establish, and review the system architecture as well as develop standards/policies/guidelines for development team to follow
• Define and enforce the governance and assurance process to the development team to follow
• Design and develop the best-fit solution that meet the user requirement
• Perform technical design and development, which meets the business requirement, architectural standards and other non-functional requirement
• Resolve any technical constraints/risks
• Deliver the solution with high quality and compliance to standard
• Prepare and execute the performance and operation tests
• Prepare technical documentation and reports
• Support the rollout of the system

Candidates with less experience may be considered as Contract Analyst Programmer.
