Quantity Surveyor / QC Mgr (Based in Middle East)

UANTITY SURVEYOR (Based in Middle East – S$8k)

Key Responsibilities

• Involve in the estimation of project costs, resolution of contractual claims and finalization of accounts, as well as implementation of cost control measures for the project
• Assist in the preparation of specifications and bill of quantities

• Perform contract administration, work progress claims, change order management and negotiate skills for all project-related commercial and contract issues with contractors/sub-contractor and vendors
• Involve in the commercial evaluation of tenders received and arrange formal execution of subcontracts
• Provide support in obtaining materials and pricing in conjunction with the project team requirements.
• Coordinate with clients on contractual issues and progress claims

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering of any disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of construction and site management experience in process plant, infrastructure, or municipal related projects
• Good interpersonal, communication, organizational and negotiation skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight datelines
• Possess Driving Licence
• Wiling to be based overseas

Quality Control Manager

(Based in Middle East – Up to S$12k)

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Construction Manager / Project Manager in the overall project planning and execution, and construction supervision.
• Supervise civil/structural and environmental engineering works for building and infrastructure facilities, maintained through all stages of the construction process.
• Complete inspections of materials prior to erection and review the manufacturing processes.
• Related experience in industrial construction with an in-depth understands of building codes and standards.
• Site supervision of the installation and commissioning of civil / structural works.
• Visiting sub-contractor fabrication facilities to ensure quality standards are being met.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess a Degree in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferably in water/wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD or micro station) and civil/structural engineering design software is an advantage.
• Willing to travel and work on overseas assignments
