Asst / Materials Executive (Buying)

JOB SCOPE:

• Responsible in releasing purchase orders base on MRP report and follow-up with suppliers on order acknowledgement and delivery commitment per MRP plan.


• Ensure materials are available to support factory build plan.


• Work with factory’s incoming quality check department and suppliers on quality related issues.


• Control the level of inventory of the materials the buyer is responsible for.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Materials Management / Purchasing / Engineering or related disciplines.


• At least 1 year experience in purchasing of electronics and mechanical components.


• Must have experience in a manufacturing environment.


• Knowledge of MRP is preferred.


• Good negotiation, communication and PC skills required with the ability to work under pressure.
