HULL MANAGER
Overall Purpose of Job:
Responsible for day to day project management of both new construction and repairs of commercial and naval vessels
JD:
· Manage and give direction and resolve conflicts in work and contractual matters.
· To lead, co-ordinate and ensuring that all works activities in the department are carried out safely and productively and in-line with the quality requirements with the specified schedule.
· To motivate, discipline, guide and train subordinates to achieve the best level of performance.
· To control of project workflow and resources.
· To maintain work standard and quality control.
· To share and provide technical expertise and experience in resolving department problem.
· To identify and develop relevant production technology (such as Kaizen) with acquisition of equipment and tools to improve productivity and quality.
· To ensure that all activities undertake by the department meet the schedule and project deliver on time.
· To ensure manpower are distributed evenly to achieve maximum results.
· To participate, contribute, formulate and implement company policies, divisional policies and department policies.
· To manage workers’ welfare, needs and problems faced by them.
· Any other associate tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time
