WORKPLACE SAFETY & HEALTH OFFICER

Requirements:

• Must be registered with MOM as Workplace Safety And Health Officer (WSHO)
• Should have some working experience as WSHO/RSO in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)
• Preferably with Environmental Control Officer (ECO)
• Applicant who have completed SOTC Theory & Practical and need working experience to be registered with MOM
• Applicant who need to complete the Practical Project will be considered

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the Safety of personnel through compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act.
• Conducting routine systematic safety audit / inspections;
• Organise training, talk, contest and other activities which will develop and maintain the interest of the persons employed on the site so as to establish a safe and healthy working conditions;
• Investigate into any accident or any disease which took place within the site/factory and recommend corrective action need to be taken to prevent recurrence;
• Generating weekly safety reports for divisional heads and management etc.
