As a key member of the Technical Sales team you will contribute to creating an exceptional customer experience while working in a fast-paced, challenging work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations, trial management and RFP responses. Post- sales activities will include on and off-site implementation, training and mentoring. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and possess a combination of strong technical skills and excellent communication skills.
Key Duties:
· Pre-sales technical support of our advanced Wireless Access Network planning and optimization software solutions
· Working closely with the sales team, provide customers the technical aspects of the Mentum solutions (products and services) including, product demonstration, technical consultation, support and training as required
· Liaise with Product Management and other internal groups to ensure timely problem resolution
· Develop and maintain product Knowledge Base
· Keep abreast of new product and technology developments
Qualifications:
Candidate MUST have:
· Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or higher
· Knowledge of 2G, 3G, RF and Microwave wireless technologies
· 3-5 years experience in mobile telecommunications with hands-on experience in network planning
· Exceptional analytical problem solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work in a high pressure fast-paced work environment
· Good time/work management skills
· Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
· Experience working in a sales or customer facing environment
· Fluent in Native Mandarin and with advanced English communication skills
· Ability to travel within the APAC region to provide on-site technical support and training
Candidate would benefit from having:
· Knowledge of 4G technology
· Experience with the operation of radio planning tools (preferably Planet EV)
· An understanding of GIS concepts and software (preferably MapInfo Professional)
