Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform prototyping, development, and implementation of high traffic web site applications/projects


• Take business requirements and develop the technical design on assigned projects (medium to large scale)


• Design, and implement the system with good quality and high scalability


• Perform system testing, deployment, optimization, and maintainance


• Participate in project, team, and schedule management


• Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions

Requirements

• University Graduate, major in Computer Science or related subject


• At least 5 years of software design, and programming experience in multi-server web development


• Demonstrated ability and experience in web programming (particularly web 2.0) with Java, Struts, PHP, MySQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, JQuery


• Knowledge of Linux, Apache, JBoss, Spring framework, Hibernate, memcached, MogileFS are highly advantageous


• Good knowledge and practice on Agile and Interactive Software Development


• Capable to work independently or as a lead/key member of a team in a fast pace environment


• Strong time management, project/schedule management, communication skill, and problem solving skill


• Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibilities, and proactive attitude towards challenges

Languages

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

• Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon
