Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuous compliance to all Environmental requirements from various authorities and organisation
- Follow up on environmental investigation, recommendation reports and audits findings.
- Provide technical level support for environmental remediation and litigation projects, including remediation system design
- Provide administrative support for data collection, providing documentation and training staff
- Coordinate and manage environmental protection programs and projects, assigning and evaluating work
- Develop and present environmental compliance training or orientation sessions
- Maintain, write and revise QA documentation management and remediation of water, air and soil quality
- Backup for Safety Engineer
- Initiate and formulate Emergency Response team, first-aid and Safety committee
- Areas safety walks to prior to systems, plants tools start-up
- Coordinate with project team with regards to local legal requirements
- Collaborate with the construction company with regards to safety issues
- Collaborate with all local authority with regards to licenses and permit requirements, including application and approval of such permits
- Compilation of safety performances indicators for construction
- Coordinate all Safety Induction with construction company for all New Hires, and project team
- Develop safety orientation requirement and conduct orientation for New Hires
- Review safety of tools, systems prior to hand over from Engineering to Production
- Participate in project team regulation with regards to preventive safety measures in plant construction and modification
- Advise on local legal requirement to the project team members
- Follow up on safety analysis, implementation and documentation
- Respond and investigate all incident/accidents, review of safety and preventive measures
- Develop, implement and establish safety management systems
- Continue and develop Emergency Response Team and Evacuation Procedures
- Monitor and control EHS related matter and licenses and liaise with local authorities such as MOM, NEA and SPF
- Supervise the Assistant Engineer in day to day work
Requirements:
- Degree in Environmental/Chemical Engineering with minimum 2 years’ related experience in a manufacturing industry
- Diploma holders with at least 6 years of relevant experience may also be considered
- Good knowledge of Government regulation relating to Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental areas
- Good presentation, communication and analytical skills
- Good team player with positive attitude

- Working Hours/Days: 8.30am-5.30pm/ 5 days week
- Salary: $3500 - 5000
