Direct reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Process Improvement Manager will work with a team of 15 in the region. This is a new and challenging position to assist the company and drive business growth in terms of key performance result and profitability as well as to initiate strategic plans on continuous improvement and lean process management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage the team on a daily basis to enhance the overall operational effectiveness and align to customer satisfactory in terms of cost, quality and on-time delivery.
- Compile operational policies, guidelines & procedures to improve its efficiency as well as to simplify its process where appropriate.
- Analyze and drive continuous improvements on Business Process, Operations Procedures and System Planning, including but not limited to streamline the overall functions including sourcing, shipping, quality and production,etc.
- Coordinate with the vendor and IT specialist to source and implement suitable ERP system for the company.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Management, Business Administration or equivalent qualification
- At least 6 years of experience in implementing lean and continuous improvement projects in multinational companies
- Experience gained from multinational / manufacturing company particularly in apparel industry is highly preferable
- Experience in coordinating and implementing ERP system would be an advantage
- Experience in project management with other cross-functional departments for improving a workflow and process is a MUST
- Strong leadership with business acumen and the ability to lead change
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Team players, results oriented, excellent interpersonal skills with both internal and external parties
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)
