You will be responsible for supporting Rockwell Automation customers during the complete life cycle of the equipment. This assistance may be to identify and correct hardware or software discrepancies, programming installation, application, maintenance, start-up, training and diagnostics. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities You will provide technical assistance and field service to customers on application, programming specifications, field service installation start-up integration, system optimization, maintenance and warranty implementation and troubleshooting of hardware and software problems at customer site. In addition, you will provide customer coordination of Rockwell Automation products and systems by performing on-site analysis and specification preparation, hardware configuration, programming assistance, project coordination, technical support, documentation, testing and acceptance. You will also be required to provide technical assistance to sales and customer personnel on product applications to include alternatives, recommendations, explanations, surveys, etc. to meet the customer’s requirements and make recommendations for product improvements.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent and/or registration as a professional engineer
Minimum five years field support experience utilizing programmable controllers, numerical controls, computers or motor controls and drives industrial automation control systems
Customer-oriented, committed and a team-player
Willing to travel
