Main Responsibilities and Objectives
· Provide L1 & L2 Support on Systems administration of Unix (Solaris, HPUX, Linux, AIX etc)
· Administer Servers, Mainframe and Network Management Applications
· Miscellaneous functions in the Data Center as assigned
· Own problem/assignment through to resolution/completion and ensure closure
Qualifications – Professional Skills & Competences
The candidate must possess:
· Diploma or Degree (preferably in Computer Science)
· At least 4 years relevant work experience in a Data Center environment
· Good Unix Administration experience
· Experience in managing servers and mainframe systems
· Receptive to flexible hours of work
Qualifications – Personal Skills & Competences
- Passionate to get things done and highly motivated
- Good communication and writing skills
- Open-minded and a fast learner
- A team player who is also able to work independently on problems & issues
