Senior Systems Developer (ASP.Net)

Position Summary:

A challenging and responsible Senior Systems Developer position with a dynamic and exciting multi-national IT Solutions Provider.

The Senior Systems Developer will develop new and existing Web applications based on company needs in Singapore and throughout the Asia-Pacific Region.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Perform coding, testing and documentation in line with user & system requirements to deliver source code, documents and test scripts that meet the client’s needs.

* Testing and Deployment of internal and external web applications.

* Responsible for assisting in Application and Database Server maintenance as well as hardware integration and development.

* Provide technical support to users and developers on all system related enquiries.

* Provide coaching and leadership to junior level developers.

* Undertake any other tasks/responsibilities when directed.

Skills & Experience Required:

* At least 2-3 years experience on Web application development.

* Proficient in ASP.Net, C#, AJAX, Web 2.0, XML, CSS, Web Services

* Knowledge on MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, MS Access.

* In depth knowledge of SQL stored procedures.

* Object-oriented design and development expertise, using Web 2.0 technologies, various third party utilities and tools for integrating web applications with databases.

* Good working experience in 2 or more complete SDLC cycles for a large project.

* Experience and knowledge in online software sales infrastructure, or software protection/tamper-proofing/licensing/key cryptography technology will be an advantage.

* Familiarity with different software development tools e.g. Visual Studio 2005/2008.

* Working knowledge of proprietary and open source solution will be an advantage.

* Positive working attitude and a team player, who has proven performance in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.

* Good analytical and problem solving skills.

* Good written and verbal communication in English.

* Strong listening skills, displays patience and good comprehension.

* Good interaction with people of all levels.

* Fast learner and able to work under tight deadlines.
