Supply Chain Manager

1. Mission

The candidate will manage a team in Hong Kong and Shenzhen to oversee the overall group supply chain operations, including production planning, shipping, procurement and inventory management.

2. Responsibilities

Operational Management of Group Supply Chain

• Implement and coordinate forecasting and resource planning processes to optimise inventory control activities while minimizing stock outs
• Coordinate planning with all related operations to minimize lead times
• Coordinate activities with commercial teams and operations
• Coordinate with quality required controls throughout the supply chain
• Manage shipping to all markets including the group company warehouse at best quality /cost ratio

Sourcing from Third Party Suppliers

• Select and manage outside suppliers of specified product
• Supervise purchases flows to meet global supply chain objectives

Operational Management

• Implement and follow key performance indicators to drive supply chain service quality
• Manage required policies and systems to support defined processes
• With Senior management make recommendations to improve productivity, and efficiency of operations to meet delivery commitments
• With Senior management, manage the negotiation of price, terms and conditions, perform cost analysis, and strengthen and maintain vendor relationships to achieve maximum cost reductions

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor Degree holder or above in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in supply chain management including at least 3 years in managing the full spectrum of Supply Chain Management functions.
  • Experience in consumer goods industry preferred
• Demonstrated accomplishments in managing material costs in both favorable and unfavorable commodity price environments
• Superb communication, interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Strong negotiation skills, global thinking and a rigorous yet flexible attitude
• Multicultural managerial experience
• Experience in SAP a plus
• Proficient in written and spoken English. Mandarin and French a plus
• Frequent travel to Shenzhen
