Information Technology Manager (based in Shanghai, China)

Responsibilities :

• Manage a team of IT staff to support the ERP, infrastructure, network, servers, telecommunication and desktop support requirements of Shanghai, Singapore and USA operations.
• Maintain, enhance and develop the existing ERP system of the Group.
• Study the possible application of workflow system for administration department.
• Work closely with internal users to define IT strategy, directions and priorities to satisfy both short term and long term needs of the Group.
• Develop, improve and enforce IT policies, operating procedures, standards and system security.
• Evaluate software and hardware vendors and manage outsourced projects.
• Organize internal and external IT training for both IT staff and internal users.
• Initiate projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations of the Group based on good understanding of internal requirements and external opportunities (i.e. availability of new technology, software and hardware).
• Develop long term IT capability of the Group through proper staffing and systems.
• Occasional overseas traveling to support and review the ERP systems of subsidiaries.
• Prepare IT budget and control its expenses.

Requirements :

• Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / IT related fields.
• Minimum 7 years experience in the IT field with relevant IT management experience, mainly in manufacturing environment of MNC.
• Have in depth knowledge of Glovia ERP system and be familiar with VBA, Oracle, SQL server, Cognos and Pro-4. Knowledge of Unix, Java, asp will be added advantage.
• Proven system implementation and project management experience with at least one software development life cycle experience.
• Proven track record in WAN and LAN system
• Hardworking, hands on, proactive and responsible.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, teambuilding, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Result-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Good presentation & communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Less experience candidates will be considered as Assistant Manager or Supervisor.
