Senior / Routing Associate

Description:
As a member of the routing operations team, this individual will interact and utilize the current routing system to monitor and update global A2P (Push and Premium) and P2P routing and recommend cost optimization schemes to widen the company’s net margin generated through SMS traffic routing. He/she will also manage the numbering plan system and document all related processes.

Scopes:

• All numbering plan management and consolidation for our platforms.


• Recommend cost optimization schemes and improve margin as automated as possible to widen the company’s net margin generated through SMS traffic routing.


• Collect and ensure essential inputs from various departments are documented and entered into the system for report generation.


• Supervise the integration and testing of new routes with Telco operators, SMS brokers and customers.


• Update and maintain the market knowledge database.


• Ensure compliance with Anti spamming regulations.


• Identify and apply competition killing strategy.


• Propose enhancements to tools to aid above described scope.

Requirements:

• Experience in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Access.


• Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to interface with Sales, Finance and Technical departments.


• Leadership qualities: Integrity, strong negotiating/persuasive skills. Keen attention to detail.


• Technical background on SMS related products and protocols will be an added advantage.


• Diploma in Engineering/IT/Telecommunications with 1 year of working experience.
