Opportunity to join the fast paced and challenging IT department of an exciting and expanding Hong Kong based company as an IT Support Engineer.

Reporting to the IT Manager as part of a small but highly motivated and dedicated IT support team you will be responsible for supporting our clients within the region.

This role will involve all aspects of IT support; from user account management to PC builds and software installs.

Skills - Essential
Desktop support skills - Windows, Office etc.
Windows 2003 Server
Exchange 2003
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
Data Backups
Anti Virus

Skills - Desirable
Routers, Switches, VPNs
Cisco knowledge
Trader Systems
VOIP Systems
Linux skills
Firewall management experience

The Candidate

The successful candidate should have excellent all-round technical skills, be able to learn quickly and have at least 3 years experience in a similar role. Knowledge of Windows and Office software, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS is mandatory and Cisco and/or Linux skills and certifications would be highly advantageous.

As well as the technical skills required for this role the successful candidate will have good communication skills (English spoken and written) and a customer focused attitude towards desktop support. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks is a must.
