Our client, a global leader in wealth and asset management is looking for a motivated individual to join them. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily administration of data servers including application support, trouble-shooting, migration, backup, monitoring, and improving security.
Job Responsibilities:
- Administrating Informatica and Tangosol products and assist application group
- Performance tuning systems to achieve optimal performance for computational intensive applications
- Suggest and improve systems design and architecture
- Create and maintain documentation
- On call 24/7 support
Essential Skills:
- At least 5 years Sybase DBA experience in a Sun-Solaris Unix environment
- At least 6 years as a relational DBA or Database Developer
- Extensive experience in installing, configuring and tuning SYBASE data server software
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience administrating Informatica and Tangosol
- Ability to perform SQL coding including areas of functionality and performance
- Able to install, configure and tune SYBASE Replication server software
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with administrating Oracle database
- Experience with SYBASE IQ Server administration
- Microsoft SQL Server database administration
- Experience in a NAS/SAN environment
