Cobol Application Analyst

PURPOSE: Assist with the analysis of business requirements

• Develop program specifications and code programs to agreed standards
• Test and debug programs, ensuring necessary changes are implemented and documented
• Support users in areas of User Acceptance Testing
• Develop application documentation and user guides
• Provide user support during and post implementation
• Maintain allocated applications by trouble shooting problems and providing effective solutions

• Participate in feasibility studies and functional analysis

CONTEXT: The role is key resource in

• The delivery of system development projects for Singapore, Hong Kong etc
• In implementing Asia IT Strategy
• In implementing Uniform infrastructure, systems and procedures
• In enforcing continued Y2K compliance

• With SMART and Life 400 experience will be added advantages.
• EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• User liaison
• Insurance operational exposure will be added advantage
