On 4 August 2009, ANZ announced it had reached agreement with the Royal Bank of Scotland to acquire selected RBS businesses in Asia. The acquisition includes the RBS retail, wealth and commercial businesses in Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia and Hong Kong, and RBS’ institutional businesses in Taiwan, the Philippines and Vietnam. The acquisition will expand ANZ’s network in Asia with the addition of a further 54 branches.

Description

· Join the team helping to drive ANZ's super regional bank strategy

· Proven experience in Trade Relationship essential.

· You be responsible for providing superior trade relationship services to customers within acceptable risk management parameters.

· Primary focus will be on delivering sustainable business financial growth and/or business performance improvement through effective revenue generation, cost management and execution.

· Maintain consistent and regular contact with a network of internal and external contacts to ensure the key drivers of the business are implemented

· You would also be expected to lead and coach your team and foster a high performance culture that inspires and guides them towards achieving common business goals.

Qualifications

· Competency in risk management with an in-depth understanding of trade products and most aspects of international trade operations [transactional and accounting].

· Knowledge of ICC Publications Numbered 458 [E], 500/600 [UCP], 522 [URC], 525 [URR] and 590 [ISP98] with an awareness of ANZ's global trade network operations and systems.

· Ability to handle complex Trade Sanctions and complex non-standard transactions helps consolidate your candidature for this post.
