Panasonic Singapore Laboratories Pte Ltd (PSL)is seeking out talented, dynamic and energetic individuals who are interested to pursue a career as R&D engineers.

In conjunction with the Singapore government, PSL is offering several training places for aspiring engineers/professionals specialized in Engineering. Successful applicants would undergo 24 months of On-the-Job(OJT) training at PSL, working on the latest R&D technologies. The training is scheduled to commence in February/March 2010. Trainees will be paid an attractive allowance for the duration of the training and will be required to serve employment in PSL, or other Singapore-based company for 1 year upon completion of the training.

R&D ENGINEERS

for one of the following areas:

A. Robotic System - robotics and electro mechanical systems (real time OS programming)
B. Communication Protocol Stack - communication protocol stack/applications design & development (C/C++)
C. Baseband - baseband algorithm design & hardware implementation (MATLAB, RTL)

The basic requirements for the above areas are:

• Strictly for Singaporeans or Permanent Residents of Singapore only
• Good degree in Electronics/Communication/Computer Engineering
• Programming skill & ability to design for technical specifications
• Relevant technical background, knowledge or experience in communication theory
• Good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Independent, resourceful and keen to learn
• Possess a 'hands-on' approach towards work
• Fresh graduates/experienced engineers are welcome to apply
