CNC MACHINIST
Job Responsibilities:
- Program, set-up and operate CNC and occasionally conventional machines to produce prototype and production parts to specs
- Works with a wide variety of materials, tooling and machine operations
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and establish set-up procedures
- Inspect first-run and in-process parts using precision measuring equipment
- Promptly and accurately completes all required record-keeping
- Perform machine maintenance
- Develop and improve machine processes and write process data sheets
- Keeps the machine and surrounding work area clean, safe and well organized
Qualification and Experience:
- Trade Certificate/Diploma in relevant discipline
- 5 to 10 years experience in programming, set-up and operating CNC machines in a high-precision environment with complex parts
