SUPPORT ENGINEER

The Job
To investigate, deliver restorations and produce solutions to customer service requests
To investigate complex technical problems, trouble shoot systems that are in operation
To participate in the remedy of systems in case of critical situations
To work overseas when necessary and have to work in multi-cultural environments.


The Requirements

Degree holder in Information Technology, Telecom or related discipline
Min. 5 years absolute experience with broad knowledge in telecom and datacom, covering hardware, software & network
Hands on experience in technical trouble shooting
Familiar with Solaris 9/+ and SUN hardware is a MUST
Excellent TCP/IP knowledge
Sound knowledge in Sybase and Oracle
Good communication skill and able to interact with people of different cultural background and across various disciplines, from customer technical staff to local authorities
Self-motivated and strive for competence development
Good written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.


PROGRAMMER
The Job
To develop new services in mobile portal and other value added services
To provide system support for production platform
To work with end users to understand their requirements

The Requirement
Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Over 2 years in-depth system development experience in J2EE preferably in telecom & mobile industry
Sound knowledge in multimedia, messaging, internet (html & web services) technologies and UMTS / GSM
Able to work under pressure
Fast learner with strong commitment in work
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and be able to interact with people at all levels
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.

SYSTEM ARCHITECT
The Job
To oversee the integration and interoperability of systems
To discipline the selection of right tech for business need
To link intrinsically the IT strategy and governance with the business plan
To develop holistic view of all the applications needed
To drive Framework Design / Development
To govern component / applications' conformance to company policies / standards
To provide Architecture Design documentation
To share technological findings with teams and offer trainings when appropriate.

The Requirement

Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
Over 8 years in-depth system development experience in telecom industry with minimum 4 years in Architecture role
Sound knowledge of J2EE, SOA, Web Service, Oracle, Design Patterns and UML
Knowledge in Telecom industrial standard (e.g. eTOM, TAM) is an added advantage
Business centric with high flexibility but able to protect company interest and enforce strategy
Self-motivated, independent, with strong Technical and Analytical skills
Fluent in both spoken and written English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.
