Specialist Solutions Architect

Location: Australia

Responsibilities
Technical:

· Manage the team and address non-functional requirement in system implementation ( infra / performance / tech integration)
· Apply significant knowledge of system, technology and application integration (workflow / DMS / GIS / reporting )
· Provide technical solution to support application / business implementation
· Provide technical direction for systems integration design / development
· Engage customer from project definition phase through implementation
· Review work of technical team (FS / Design and development)
· Recognize system deficiencies and implements effective solutions
· Preferred : system implementation in .Net environment with above technologies


Team management:


· Develop project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
· Ensure technical teams deliver to schedule with quality
· Manage scope and schedule with customer
· Manage technical risks throughout the project
· Communicate and enforce technical design / development standards
· Perform design reviews and mentor TLs
· Manage technical resources within budget and project schedule
· Proactive in team management and resolve conflict of interest between users / teams
· Team comprises : Architects (WF / DMS / GIS), developers, DBA, TS support


Experience/ Skills

· + 7 years in a technical management role reflecting the above environment
· Able to effectively facilitate team and client meetings
· Able to resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
· Able to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
· Possess strong technical writing / review skills
