QA/QC ENGINEER (TUAS)

Job Scope:

Obtains contract documents from the tender departments such as letter of intent, tender drawings specifications, etc. for the new project.
Prepared quantity take- off/ measurements for the work based on the period for cut- off dates.
Prepared Progress Billing/ Keeps tracks of billings of projects handled for submission to client.
Prepares sub- contract agreement to the awarded sub- contractor for each respective project,
Prepares variation works claim for various additional work given by Client.
Coordinates with out site staff such as Project Managers/ Site Engineers with regard work site progress.
Settlement of Final Accounts to Sub- Contractor to the completed Projects/ Works Order
Monitors the Defects Liability Period and releases retention monies from Clients.
Carries out site inspection for updating monthly progress claims.
Assists in the handling of sales enquiries such as getting quotations in time especially for special items from suppliers/ contractors required for pricing of the tenders
Assists the tender team to provide back- up data like quantity take- off measurements based on tender drawings and specifications for submission of tenders both structural steelworks and civil works.

Job Specfications:

3 to 5 Years experience required in Structural Steel works estimation and costing.
Qualification Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mech. Engineering
Computer proficiency in MS Project / Excel and MS word
Able to read structural steel drawings

Working Location: TUAS area
Salary: up to S$3k
