Head of Regional Middleware Support (Webpshere, iplanet) (Vice President)

One of our clients, a Global Bank is currently recruiting a senior person to head regional middleware team. The team will be responsible for day to day administration and support of middleware environments across multiple geographic regions (US, Europe and Asia Pacific) during the local time zone. Based in Singapore you will be responsible for managing and maintaining service levels across the solutions offered and work alongside other regional team members.

Responsibilities
- Managing a team to ensure smooth running of all the middleware services.
- Ensuring smooth escalation and smooth problem resolutions to problems reported
- Own systems monitoring of assigned applications to provide consistent monitoring of deployed middleware assets in an enterprise production environment

Skills Required
- The candidate should have a minimum of 12 yrs of IT experience and min 4 years in management capacity , having managed large scale WebSphere servers, SUN One/iPlanet Web Servers, Microsoft IIS, SiteMinder, SUN One Directory servers (LDAP), in an enterprise and high visibility environment.
- Appreciation of Middleware technology and web technology
- Good management skills and ability to manage large scale Middleware and web environment
- Prior experience in ITIL is a plus
- Strong UNIX, and Windows skills. Experience with Windows 2003 server, IBM AIX, Solaris, and Redhat Linux is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team building skills are essential
