Senior Technical Consultant (Ref.: JD/SLC/1503/DCS)

Responsibilities:

• Support all Data Centre Services pre-sales activities
• Gather and document customer's requirement, propose and develop appropriate logical solutions
• Arrange and lead data centre tours
• Visit customer to conduct solution presentation and collect customer's requirements
• Prepare tender response and business case with detail project cost
• Arrange bid management meeting, review solution and proposals
• Keep update the product information and specification and improve the standard and quality of supporting documents
• Update sales pipeline and sales support requests
• Perform ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• University degree in information technology or computer science or related disciplines
• 5 years' experience in IT industry for problem solving on the software, as well as the hardware layer
• Solid experience in managing large and small scaled IT infrastructure projects
• Knowledge on Data Centre and Business Continuity Plan is a definite advantage
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to communicate well within the company and with suppliers, service vendors and customers
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese; knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage
