Software Engineers
(Junior/ Intermediate/ Senior)
(Singapore / Malaysia-Penang)
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for MES or EAP application development and implementation.
- Participate, gather user requirements, translate to functional specification and implement Fab wide MES/EAP solutions for semiconductor manufacturing (Fab/Sort/Assembly/Test).
- Conduct Acceptance Testing for MES/EAP implementation to meet user requirement.
- Senior engineer needs to take on the leadership role in leading a team of MES/EAP engineers in project management and supervision of them.
- Senior engineer needs to be able to mentor and provide guidance and assistance to junior engineer.
- For EAP implementation, need to involve in defining communication specifications of process/metrology equipment, conduct equipment characterization and verify communication capability of equipment selected for CIM automation.
- Familiar with other CIM operation domains (e.g. SPC, FDC, R2R, CMMS).
- Report to Project Manager.
- This position will be based in Singapore or Malaysia (Penang) office.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MES or EAP implementation for semiconductor industry.
- Proven track records with at least 1 full project cycle of MES or EAP implementation experience.
- Experience in MES products (e.g. MESplus, FactoryWorks, Workstream, PROMIS, NanoTrack).
- Experience in EAP products (e.g. FAMate, ASYST FW/EIB).
- Experience in FDC products (e.g. BisTEL eFDC) is an added advantage.
- Experience in CIM environment is preferred.
- Experience in TIBCO-RV / H101 is preferred.
- Knowledge of SECS/GEM/HSMS protocol is preferred.
- Experience in Equipment Characterization is preferred.
- Strong programming knowledge and technical skills in any 5 of the following areas:
- C# / VB.NET
- Core Java Programming
- C++ (OOP)
- Pro*C
- Oracle DB / SQL
- ASP.NET (Web-App / XML Web Service)
- Spring Framework
- OO Design Patterns
- JUnit / NUnit (Test Driven Development)
- Visual Studio .NET
- Eclipse or NetBeans
- SVN / CVS
- Good understanding in software development methodologies.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Good team player with leadership qualities/attitudes.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Keen attention to detail and strive to produce quality work.
- Independent and self-motivated.
- Able to travel overseas for project implementation.
