C++ Sr. Software Engineer - embedded Linux

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and passionate software engineer
to be part of a group of designers and engineers who are enthusiasts of
digital entertainment and lifestyle products.

The candidate would be responsible for

1. Purchase and evaluate competing lifestyle products in the market
2. Take part in product design and features recommendations
3. Research and recommend available tools and technologies for product
development
4. Participate in product development with project managers and other team
members

Following requirements are highly desirable in applicant

1. Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2. Minimum of 4-7 years of software development experience in C/C++
3. Experience with database, specially mysql is definite plus
4. Familiarity with any graphics libraries such as GDI+/cairo etc
5. Familiarity with any GUI libraries such as MFC/wxWindows/QT
6. Experience in linux and embedded linux is highly desirable
7. Knowledge of scripting language for automation such as PHP/JavaScript/Python (Optional)
7. Experience of working in a formal and team environment
8. Experience in developing home lifestyle devices, specially remote control, would be great plus
