Due to our expansion plans, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as:

Plant Engineer

The Job

• Carry out project management in new production line set-up and continuous improvement projects
• Provide technical support to operations for timely resolution of process/plant equipment-related problems
• Evaluate performance of process equipment and control systems
• Conduct optimization studies to improve product quality and yield; reduce energy consumption; and improve plant operations
• Access breakdown of facilities equipment and building defects and take immediate action to repair the faults by service contractor

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 3 years experience in health and hygiene products, food and beverage, consumer-end pharmaceutical production, or other consumer-end specialty chemical production
• Customer-focused, action-oriented and adept in process effectiveness; with the ability to work with and/or lead cross-functional teams and a strong drive for results
• Proven track record in plant optimization and improvement projects
