SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Location: Selangor - Damansara Uptown

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team to develop Telco software solution in fault and performance management. The development will be leverage on existing software and/or platform.
• Involved in software development activities which includes of creating new and maintaining existing solution. Software development lifecycle should be practiced in order to govern the development process.
• Manage software development activities and ensure on time delivery of deliverables. Communicate and work closely with various stakeholders such as Product Managers, Project Managers, Quality Assurance, Service Managers and Customers.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Computer / Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical / Electronic), Computer Science / Information Technology, Science & Technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferable for those candidate who have an extensive exposure in managing and leading 'Software Testing' & 'Quality Assurance' environment.
• Having an expert knowledge of QA / testing tools & methodologies, testing and quality assurance (QA) in the UNIX or LINUX and Windows environments.
• Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, teamwork, communication, organizational, leadership skills and continuous improvement techniques.
• For those who have working knowledge of Oracle & Informix database and industrial experience in GSM/UMTS will be added an advantage.
• Required skill(s) : Good knowledge in at least one of the following areas which are programming / scripting languages such as Visual Basic (VB), PERL, UNIX shells, SQL, C/C++, Java & PL/SQL; relational database design and SQL usage.
• Required language(s) : Fluent in English both written and spoken.
