Location: Central, Singapore
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to oversee health and performance of the BW systems;
- Monitor, track and ensure on service level performance of applications in scope;
- Improve and consult on the design, integrity, stability, scalability, supportability and usability of SAP BW environment;
- Coordinate technical support efforts to resolve break/fix issues on extract/load, technical/functional performance, infrastructure, month end close, interfaces, database, etc;
- Review and improvement of current technical control procedures, ensure alignment with SOx and best practice in industry.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT or equivalent;
- Minimum 8 years’ working experience in IT industry, with minimum 4 years’ working experience in SAP BW implementation or support;
- Possess strong SAP BW functional skills;
- Proven track record in BW technical knowledge i.e. Extraction, Partitioning, Performance, Compression, Loading, Sizing & Statistics;
- Working knowledge of infrastructure, databases and SAP Basis structures as well as basic ABAP skills;
- Good team player, able to work effectively in virtual, cross-cultural environment as well as with all levels in the organization;
- Must be willing to travel and on call;
- Authorization to work in Singapore is required for this position;
- A remuneration package based on the conditions in the country of employment will be offered for this position;
- Fluency in written and spoken English is essential for this position.
