System Engineer cum Java Developer ST Electronics (Info-Comm Systems) Pte Ltd

Job:

· Responsible and perform system design, site installation, configuration, testing and commissioning of system as assigned
· Involve in the system requirement analysis, design, detailed design, implementation, system integration, testing and commissioning of sub-systems in the test/operational environment
· Provide professional technical system support in relates to the project or delivered product during the warranty/maintenance of the system
· Liaise with the Application team and perform software/3rd party software deployment
· Performed Database scripting and tuning, when necessary.
· Ability to design/develop in Java/J2EE technology
· Opportunity to travel for overseas assignment and attachment, where applicable
· Be involved and handle multiple projects, when necessary



Requirements:

· Diploma/ Degree in IT/Computer Engineering and related discipline
· At least 2 years experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities as specified above
· Hands-on experience in the installation and configuration with one or more of the following application servers such as Weblogic
· Experience in system implementation in OS environment such Unix and Microsoft Windows/Servers
· Ability to manage system and infrastructure including tasks in the configuration, installation and deployment of the systems
· Experience in configuration and installation in database/security tools such as Oracle Database, SQL server, backup software as well as security policy such as firewalls & intrusion detection and prevention systems
· Experience in implementing Database script & tuning will be an added advantage
· Experience in network design, setup/administration and deployment will be an added advantage
· Experience in Java/EJB programming will be an added advantage
· Posses good attitude, teamwork spirit and interpersonal skills
· Minimum good in spoken and written English language
· Ability to handle multiple projects on system
