CSA Private Limited Wintel Application Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

· To perform 1st level troubleshooting for all in-house applications and escalate 2nd/3rd level issues accordingly to the relevant teams / vendors after determining problem
· To travel to internal end-user sites for support whenever necessary.
· Maintain and manage Databases (MS SQL and/or DB2)
· To be the main Point-of-Contact (POC) with vendors for all applications-related issues
· To provide immediate response to applications / websites for any urgent problems and escalate accordingly.
· Incident Reporting – to maintain and clear logs regularly (on daily / weekly basis) and follow-up with end-users at different sites
· To perform Patch Release management and anti-virus updates in servers whenever applicable
· Regular web status reporting – to generate reports using Web Trends on a regular frequency (weekly / monthly, etc)
· Maintain and manage audit logs
· To perform back-up
· To implement and also recommend security protocols/ procedures wherever possible
· Whenever applicable, to perform content management of in-house applications
· Official Work hours – Mon to Friday: 8.30am to 6pm or 9am to 6.30pm.

Requirements:
· Candidate should have at least 2 years experience in a systems administrator or 1st level support capacity in a Wintel Environment
· Candidates should be comfortable with facilitating vendors
· Candidates should be meticulous in managing and closing incident reports
· They should also be familiar in reading server or firewall logs
· Good to have experience in patch management
