Network Engineer/Assistant Network Engineer - Network Operations

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers and carriers in handle Network Operations Centre's daily duties
• Provide first line support of network surveillance including voice, data transmission service quality assurance; alarm handling; problem isolation; fault escalation; vendor and contractor management
• Perform Voice Switch & telephone system patching & cabling (e.g. structured cabling, jumpering).

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Telecommunications, Engineering or related disciplines
• 3 years working experience in telecommunication and preferable in network operations areas;
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Knowledge of Visual FoxPro, MS SQL, MYSQL
• Knowledge and practical experience of Voice Switch (SS7, PRI) & VoIP systems (H323, SIP) is a must, e.g. Cisco, Huawei.
• Have script or programming experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Emergency call-out in non-office hour or work in shift may required
