Position Available:

Senior Market Analyst

IDC Singapore has a vacancy for Senior Market Analyst – Consulting, based in Singapore. The successful incumbent will focus on global/regional consulting/custom research projects.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Ownership of custom research project workflow, ranging from support for business development, proposal generation, through analysis and project fulfillment
  • Coordinating and conducting all aspects of research on each project including data gathering, analysis and processing, report writing, and presentations
  • Project management coordination between multiples countries and departments.

Interested individuals that meet the following minimum requirements are encouraged to apply:

  • Individuals with a minimum 3 to 5 years job experience in a market research or management consulting firm, a market intelligence division of an InfoComm company, or a consultancy focused on InfoComm. Individuals with proven project management expertise and experience in the InfoComm industry will also be considered favorably.
  • Minimum university or college degree, BA, BSc or equivalent
  • Exposure to cross section of InfoComm technologies
  • MS Excel and PowerPoint advanced level and SPSS intermediate level experience preferred. Familiarity with Access, or similar database a plus.
  • Ability to conduct interviews and gather information resourcefully from both vendors and users
  • Ability to analyze data and articulate insights in documented or presentation forms to audience and clients
  • Background in marketing strategy, branding strategy, customer behavior analysis and/or price-cost analysis will be a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal mastery of English and Chinese required.
  • Able to articulate concepts and solutions, multi-task and handle multiple project streams.

The successful candidate should be an excellent team player with strong execution, follow-through skills and able to work well with tight schedules and complex team structures. The individual must be a self-starter with a track record of taking large-scale projects from inception through delivery.

Manager / Assistant Manager, Information Management (People Matters Department)

Responsibilities:

Your main responsibility is to oversee the operations in summon serving and dispatch by ensuring that the team of support officers administers all the processes and procedures in accordance to the Government IM guidelines. You are also required to undertake new projects and manage the budget in the department.
Apart from overseeing the operations in Registry, Despatch and CMR, you are required to promptly resolve any operations issues that have an impact on service level to the departments. You are also needed to review and update the SOPs and guidelines in the Registry, CMR, Despatch and Summon Serving to ensure these stay updated and relevant in response to changes in the operating environment.
Undertaking projects, you will be actively involved in new developments to rollout new projects by working closely with all parties (vendors and users) to ensure all deliverables are met as stipulated in the specifications and is delivered on schedule, on time and on budget. You are required to work closely with vendors, monitor and track their performance in all deliverables as stipulated in the ITT or ITQ, or requirements that have been refined during the feasibility study or requirements gathering phase.
Requirements:
Candidates should possess a Degree, preferably in Information Technology with at least 1 - 2 years of experience in Project management and vendor management.
You should have good interpersonal and analytical skills and is able to multi-task to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision. Equipped with good written & communication skills, you should be able to engage people at all levels. Experience in coordinating with several parties to meet the project deliverables will be an added advantage.
