Trainer
You will support the retail business by equipping the retail teams with product and technical knowledge that will help them in their roles to improve sales.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Develop, conduct and evaluate all necessary training, development and education for the retail team
- Provide retail team with first hand information on market situations, competition through daily on-ground contact
- Provide on-the-job training for retail teams on adidas brand history, technologies, fashion and product launches
- Lead store personnel to consistently deliver excellent customer service by coaching and sharing of product knowledge
- Ensure fast and efficient development, adoption and implementation of Global/ Regional training programme/ materials relating to product and technologies, based on the campaigns and needs of the retail team with Manager, D&T
- Implement and deliver selected modules of adidas Retail University to the retail team
- Work closely with Manager, D&T on retail team training needs, training initiatives and training implementations.
- Provide internal training consultation to the Senior Manager, Retail and Manager, D&T focusing on store/staff performance improvements and enhancements
- Responsible for training administration and training follow up.
Pre-requisite Knowledge & Skills
- Recognised Diploma in Training & Development / Retail Management, preferably ACTA certified
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as a stand-up Trainer and exposure to the developmental and support work associated with delivery of training programs in a retail environment
- Good presentation skills, a systematic and organized team player
- Able to collaborate and adapt quickly to changes
- Good analytical and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated individual who has a strong desire to constantly learn and make improvements
