Our client, a US Medical MNC seeks:
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Report to the Asia Pacific Research and Development Director.
· Lead product engineering efforts for new product design by applying first principles engineering. Document outcome accordingly.
· Support development of new products through knowledge of the clinical and physical performance requirements. Apply Design for Six Sigma methodology throughout the R&D life cycle.
· Develops and maintains good rapport with other internal functions, technical consultants, and outside vendors to accomplish project objectives.
· Support the organization’s intellectual property strategy by documenting data and independent, unique and patentable ideas that result from experimentations and concept generation. Maintains the R&D log book.
REQUIREMENTS
- Masters in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in the medical industry, knowledge in disposable medical devices and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) tools will be an advantage.
- A strong team-player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Travel as required by project scope and timing.
