Responsibilities:
As an I.S. Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the Hotel’s IT systems and infrastructure are kept fully operational. You will help in the implementation of systems and provide support as necessary. You will also liaise with the I.S. Manager and Director of I.S. to ensure IT practices are in line with corporate standard.
Requirements:
We are looking for an entry level candidate with knowledge of hardware, software and networking. It is essential to be structured and methodical in your approach to handling internal and external hardware, software and network issues. Excellent problem solving skills and self determination is a must.
Candidates must fulfill the following prerequisites:
· Possess IT related Certificate / Diploma
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to build and maintain PC in Local Area Network environment
· Knowledge of Local Area Network trouble shooting, anti-virus and network security.
· Ability to install, maintain and trouble shooting on Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows
2000 Server and Windows 2003 Server
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Microsoft certification is preferred
· Understand the work culture of hospitality industry
· Knowledge of hotel applications is an advantage (PMS, POS..)
· Good spoken and written English
· Able to work irregular hours, shifts, weekends and public holidays
