IT Appln Project Managers (Large-scale projects/Local/Overseas)

Position 1: IT Project Managers (Sports Games Systems/Applications)
We are in search of IT Application Project Managers/Consultants with experiences in development of systems involving sports games (such as timing/scoring/results), management systems such as Logistics and Transport dealing with large amounts of data, or virtual world sites.

Job Scope:

Requirement gathering, design and implementation of the systems
Project manage vendors ensuring quality delivery, meeting of service levels and overall on-time project delivery
Actively involved in the development of processes and procedures to the system operations
Manage the procurement activities for related services and equipment
Plan the deployment of the system thereafter ensuring that operational service levels are met

Requirements:

At least a Degree in IT, Computer Engineering or any related fields
At least 5 years working experience in IT application development/consulting/project management
Either experiences working on application systems for large sporting events, website virtual world projects or any other large scale management systems
Experience in complex projects/programmes involving multi-discipline teams
Have experience managing vendors
A team player who is result-driven and able to work in a very fast-paced environment with a team of multi-nationals
Excellent verbal and written skills in English

Position 2: IT Application Project Managers

(Local projects/Permanent positions/Various Industries)

Job Scope:

Involved in the full SDLC cycle from requirement analysis and functional/technical design to implementation, testing, integration and rollout
Manage a team of analysts and developers ensuring timely delivery of the projects
Manage the budget and resource allocation, and plans timelines and schedules
Undertakes status review meetings among project team members and clients
Develops project control and reporting procedures and manages changes in operational plans

Requirements:

At least a degree in Computing Engineering/IT or relevant qualifications
At least 8 years working experience with at least 4 years project management experience
Experienced in enterprise application design and architecting for web application/portals preferred
Has experience in at least 3 Software Development Life Cycles involving medium to large scale projects
Good working experience in managing vendors
Has good technical knowledge and working experience in either Java or Microsoft technologies or both
Excellent communication and written skills in English
Team Leads with good project and team management experience can be considered for the Project Manager position as well

Position 3: Senior IT Application Project Managers

(Local projects/Overseas projects-Middle East/Permanent positions/Commercial)

(CRM and various other projects)

Job Scope:

Determines, monitors and reviews all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources and risks
Plans, directs and co-ordinates the team’s activities to manage and implement projects from initiation to final operational stage
Manages and leads the project team in determining client requirements, analyze needs and recommends appropriate planning concepts and tools to be used
Ensure that quality projects are delivered on schedule
Develops project control and reporting procedures and manages changes in operational plans
Maintains awareness on emerging technologies and Project Management techniques
Involved in Business Development activities

Requirements:

At least a degree in Computing Engineering/IT or relevant qualifications
At least 10 years working experience with at least 6 years project management experience
Experience managing a team of at least 10 IT professionals
Experienced in enterprise application design and architecting on Java/J2EE/Microsoft based environment
Has completed at least 3 full system development life cycles for large scale projects
Possess a strong technical background, i.e. started out as a developer/system analyst
Experience working in vendor environment would be advantageous
Excellent communication and written skills in English
Able to work in Middle East for 1-2 years or/and able to travel frequently for the overseas projects
