MATERIALS PLANNER & BUYER
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, analyze provision, source and purchase spares and components from approved suppliers

Negotiate pricing, review and execute service agreements

Review key supplier performance

Update purchase order records and liaise with suppliers on discrepancies and urgent delivery

Review provision stock / materials and monitor for optimum inventory level

Continually source for competitive vendors to reduce cost and delivery lead time

REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma in Supply Chain or related field

Minimum three years experience in purchasing / materials management, and preferably within aviation industry

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP (SAP or its equivalent) and Lean/Six Sigma process

Independent, with good negotiation and interpersonal skills

Must possess integrity and a team player

ASSISTANT WORKSHOP ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform tasks associated with the incoming inspection and evaluation on all the components, such as Thrust Reverser, etc.

Raise Engineering Instruction Request and/or Discrepancies Worksheet on all the findings and evaluations report as appropriate

Apply the appropriate repair manual and processes from OEM data, NORDAM Repair Procedures, Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives

Plan and raise the material demand and labour required

REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma / NITEC in Aerospace Technology or related field, preferably with PCAWO certification

Minimum three years of relevant experiences

Computer literate (Microsoft Word/ Excel)

Team player, with good communication and interpersonal skills
