Assistant Manager, Accounts
Responsibilities (Regional Support)
- Accountable for the consolidation, analysis and reporting of all financial statements for the company and overseas subsidiaries;
- Managing and forecasting cash, foreign exchange and working capital of the Group;
- Monitors the financial performance of the subsidiaries in the Group;
- Coordinate with overseas Finance Managers and colleagues to provide meaningful financial information for reporting purposes;
- Working in an active regional role with Country Finance Managers / Local Accounting Service Providers to troubleshoot finance / accounting issues and facilitate the delivery of regional financial matters & operational objectives, e.g. provide orientation for new overseas finance staff, setting up policies and procedures, and participate in process / systems improvement projects to identify areas for continual improvement, coordinate within finance department all finance documents for approval, posting of financial data for certain subsidiaries;
- Involved in developing strong internal controls, reporting standards and ensuring compliance with HQ accounting and reporting requirement; Conduct variance analysis on key financials and ratios (for e.g. Profitability ratios and turnover ratios) for each region on a monthly basis based on prior year comparisons as well as to budget
- Preparing group financial data for regional meeting discussions;
- Compilation of monthly management accounts for review.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy;
- At least 2 years experience handling regional accounts for Southeast Asia
- Meticulous, has initiative & good attitude;
- Ability to communicate in other languages with peers from Asia, in addition to English and Mandarin;
- Willing to travel when necessary
Location: Best World Changi Global Headquarters. 1 Changi North St 1, Lobby 2. 2-way pick up services will be provided in Ang Mo Kio, Seng Kang & Tampines MRT stations
