We are currently assisting one of our clients for the following position:

Oracle/SQL Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Design, plan, maintain and support overall database architecture for various applications
• Support projects/services related to database / system architecture
• Review database architecture / design for capacity growth and activities
• Fine-tune database configurations for optimal performance
• Ensure high level of data security and compliance
• Review system architecture in relation to database for optimal performance
• Liaise with vendors on database maintenance, backup and problem solving
• Evaluate the accuracy and quality of the deliverables from vendors through system tests and user acceptance tests

Requirements:

• A relevant IT degree
• Solid experience in Oracle 9/10i and Microsoft SQL database administration and performance tuning
• Familiar with DBMS tools such as PL/SQL and TOAD
• Solid experience in Microsoft Server environment
• Typically has at least 6 years experience as DBA and/or System Architect

Senior Executive, IT

This position requires the candidate to support the IT development during the startup phase. He/she will need to lead software project implementation and other intranet application and website content management.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
