Senior C# Developer (.NET) - Banking

Our client, a leading financial institution with a growing presence in Asia Pacific, is looking for an experienced C# Developer to develop the real time applications that will have access multiple server-side services including real-time pricing, positions, and databases. The application needs to be intuitive and well integrated with other in-house and 3rd party applications within the firm. You will work with C# under the .NET platform.
You will be part of a global development team and work directly with Traders and Analysts to build full life cycle trading systems.

Requirements:

4+ years C# development .
Good user interface design skill.
Some exposure to C++/VBA/VB6
Strong object-oriented understanding
SQL database stored procedure experience
SQL 2000 and SQL 2005 database experience.
Scripting language experience is a plus.
Prior work within the financial industry is a plus
A University degree in Computer Science or related.

Application Support Analyst - Asset Management (30K-45K)

Our client, one of the world¡¦s leading asset management firms, is now looking for an application support analyst to provide 1st-2nd line support to their asset management system for the traders, fund managers and internal users.

Reporting to the application development manager, you will work closely with the business users across APAC to provide end-user support for the fund management applications, gather and analyst user requirement, create and maintain technical documentations, design and develop fund application projects regionally. In additional, you will liaise with vendors on service delivery, application quality, enhancement requests and testing of new releases and participate in business continuity planning

The successful candidate should have a bachelor degree in IT field and at least 5 years hands-on experience in developing and support fund management systems / applications in a similar environment with a global financial institution. Technically, you should be proficient in Visual Basic, Java, SQL, Unix Shell Script, Crystal Report with solid knowledge of UNIX, Windows OS, Microsoft SQL Server skills and SWIFT applications. Experience in support vendor system, .e.g. DST HiPortfolio, HiTrust applications is highly desirable.

Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills are vital for this role, as well as proactive working attitude plus an excellent track record of working within tight deadlines.
