The School of the Arts (SOTA) is set up by the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts. SOTA is Singapore’s first national pre-tertiary specialised arts school. For youths aged 13 - 18 who have an interest and talent in the visual and performing arts, SOTA offers a dedicated development path, providing them with a new teaching and learning environment where both their artistic and academic potential can best be realised.

As part of our expansion plans, we are pleased to invite applications for the position of:

Library Officer

• You will provide quality customer service to the students and teachers, handle reference inquiries, routine correspondences and maintain the library collection
• You will assist in the selection, management, development and maintenance of library collections
• You will assist in the provision of support for library programmes e.g. class visits, arrange logistics etc
• You will compile statistics, maintain library equipment and provide other administrative support

Applicants should:

• Have a Diploma in Library Studies/ Information Studies with minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
• Be resourceful, reliable and IT inclined with a passion for learning
• Be an organized practitioner of quality customer service in a dynamic environment
